HA! I shot a 32" Hitachi TV with an unloaded .357 mag. Learned more with that little episode than I've learned since. Best part, didn't shoot me or anything that could'nt be replaced...lucky! I wouldn't trade that experience for 500 safety classes.

Wow. I hope I never do that. I often dry practice in front of my 32". I check and re-check and re-check, it's become a good habit. As I'm reloading I always say out loud to myself something like -gun is hot- a few times.
 
32" tube TV, round didn't make it through the wall, and yes, my gun was not loaded. Some sneaky bastard slipped a live round in when I wasn't looking. :happy-smileygiantred:
