Most here know I have a serious issue for collecting certain car audio items/brands. This leads me to wonder and ask, how many here collect home audio gear? Let's see some pics too.
my friend collects vintage stuff. Usually pays little to nothing and fixes it. I don't think I've ever heard speakers I liked at his house, his favorites are the big Maggies.
I was having a discussion about collecting just the other day. I've never been a collector. When I was younger I'd trade every comic, tape or CD, book, whatever to get the new one. I regret it now because I don't have much to "look back" on.
Even now I'm not much of a collector, I just have a hard time getting rid of stuff.
I don't collect gear in the sense that I have a collection. I collect gear in the sense that I tend to shift gear down to other rooms when I upgrade and thus have a house full of equipment that is actually in use.
