I only watched the first vid but there is one thing I have been "stockpiling" for some time and that is incandescent light bulbs,

Screw that mercury poison shit.

The video #3 is waiting for the Canadian Governments test results in the fall of 2009......wonder what the results were & what has happened since.
Also, the Government Official stated that you need to be at a safe distance from the bulbs (at least a foot)........but the lady replaced all those bulbs in her horse barn & had to get on ladders to change them....& they effected her pretty bad & they were far away.

LED is where it's at.

100%...Don't know why those are so hard to get and they are supposed to be "greener" than the CFLs.

Looks like I'll be going back to good ole incandescents.

Do you mean LEDs are hard to find? My local Lowe's and Home Depot have LED bulbs in everything from 1/4 watt "night light" to super-bright security lights. They still are somewhat expensive. I haven't looked much online yet but I do use several in my house.

At my house (inside and out) I use roughly 60% fluorescent , 30% LED...

As my fluorescent bulbs burn out I will replace with LED.

I feel that the LED bulbs dont have the output of light that I like or the level that I can find it easy to read or work in. LED has some developement to work on yet.

I have been using LED for some band work but I also have halogen still in use.
