Anyone else watching the tribute to Stevie Wonder on CBS tonight?
I only finished the self-recorded "Grammys" last night, and it sure looks like this show was taped in the same auditorium, maybe the same night, as the Grammys; they made everyone sit in a different seat and maybe they made Kanye go home; I think LL Cool Jay was wearing the same damn suit.
Lady Gaga kicked "I Wish", thought she was actually playing the Rhodes as she kept glancing down at her hands, but in spots she lifted both hands up and the killer groove kept going, so it wasn't her playing. Sang it great, though!
I think it was Pharrell who sang "Don't you worry" along with another guy I didn't recognize, my favorite SW song by far:

Sounded great.

I should pick up a Stevie songbook and brush up my keyboard skills, what little might be left; there's some wicked chord changes going by that I can't identify by ear. Good stuff!

Who's this kid who's kind've adopted the John Fogerty look (scruffy flannel shirt) but has flaming red hair and a scraggly beard? He was prominent at the Grammys and is now doing a pretty good loop performance, a la "Frippertronics". He's pretty good!

Watched just a few minutes before going to bed last night. Have it recorded, so I'll watch all of it tonight. Ed Sheeran did a great cover of In My Life on the Grammy Beatles tribute last year. I wish they would come out with the Bluray of both of these programs and soon!
