DoubleDown Casino app (Android) problems

Mine has gotten stuck on the "connecting..." screen ever since maybe Wednesday or thereabouts. So it's been quite a few days. Does anyone ever play this game on their Android phone or tablet? Just wondering if it's just me or if others have been affected?

I'm kind of guessing it's just me, but still thought I'd ask nonetheless. Thanks!

In setup, clear the app cache, then force stop the app. Proceed as normal.

I just tried what you suggested, but unfortunately had no luck.

My phone is old. Still running Gingerbread; hence, I've got that limiting small amount of sandboxed "app data storage" space that I know DoubleDown likes to utilize. Who knows. Maybe I wasn't able to free as much of the app data storage as DDC's latest update requires. (The app being web based seems to update itself even though I don't typically take the newest update in Google Play). Beats me. After getting desperate, I've even tried officially updating my old version of the app via Google Play but still fails to connect like it used to.

DoubleDown casino just doesn't like me, anymore. Maybe it's because I refuse to buy any of their pretend gambling money with my real hard-earned cash money? And I just play with the daily free cash allotment. Anyway...

When I finally get around to buying a tablet, I'll just have to hope it works on the new device. I keep thinking we should be seeing a new Nexus 7 sometime this summer. Which is what I'll probably buy. But I also wouldn't mind the larger Nexus 10---even if some folks claim there really aren't enough tablet apps on Android to take advantage of it's higher resolution.
