This just started on PBS, and so far its fantastic. Its a nature show (BBC-style, but don't know if it was filmed by them). Its about birds and their flight/migrations, with so far a whole bunch of footage taken from cameras on the birds themselves, sorta "looking over their shoulders". This one is a definite Bluray purchase for me, if/when it is issued.
Recommended if you're a nature buff!

:handgestures-thumbup:

EDIT: Wow. Over-the-shoulder footage of a bald eagle flying over the edge of a cliff to catch the up-drafts. And when food is plentiful, bald eagles will toss their prey to each other, actually playing "catch"! Over-the-shoulder of snow geese skimming the Nebraska plains (they really labor in their flight, and you wonder if they're gonna clear that next bale of hay). More snow geese o-t-s of them flying between the spires of Monument Valley (wtf are snow geese doing over the desert??) Manta rays propelling themselves a dozen feet out of the water (I didn't know they did that!). Dolphins in the Carolinas forming a line and driving fish onto the riverbank collectively, and then scooping them up (all the dolphins lay on their right side to do this) while egrets grab the leftovers. Gulls scooping up brine flies like snowplows. This was a great show! :eusa-clap:

FINAL EDIT: The bluray is available on Amazon, but for $39.95... Hopefully PBS offers it as a promotion during their next fund drive...

I watched too. my question is how did they accomplish that? Also the billion brine fly's and the gulls having a feast.. Check it out if you can, even if you aren't a nature buff but want to see some unbelievable movie making.
