Expendables 2

Saw it tonight. Having kept expectations low, I ultimately thought it was pretty good; it doesn't pretend to be anything other than what it is.

I saw it Sunday nite, the movie was shot in a way that made it very grainy. Which to me it was at times distracting, as going up to the level of being fuzzy in some shots. I realize Sly probably wanted it to look like it was made in the 80's for effect, but I think he over did it.

I also think the opening scene had a little too much action, going on at the same time. Plus I thought the editing was bad in that scene. So that also made it seem choppy and hard to follow, with the result of action overload, to me anyway. I prefer Christopher Nolan's wide angle, and long range scenes and editing ability.

I enjoyed the comedic lines probably more than the action, in most of the scenes. Seeing Chuck Norris was cool, and funny.

Me & my son enjoyed this movie. Had great comic stuff. It kept my attention through out the movie. But I wouldn't consider buying the movie on BR. But would stream or rent the disc again.
Enjoyable. We were thinking Steven Seagal might be in it as well. Oh, well....

I didn't bother with Expendables 1.

That's too bad, because it was a pretty entertaining, leave your brain at the door type of movie.
