Netflix is finally starting to feel the heat of competition from someone buying Blockbuster. They released Toy Story 3 and Hot Tub Time machine for instant watch.

Those were available before the buyout. Dish Network bought BB last Thursday I think.

And it is the studios and distributors that have primary say as to what can and cannot be streamed, not NF.

I believe that they would stream their entire inventory if possible.

BB could put the hurts to Netflix if they end up on more hardware. Offering games as well as movies is a big advantage. I never liked BB, so I hope Netflix can get more immediate streaming on new release and perhaps team up with Gamefly for that end.

I agree....I did not know that.




I also have to agree with Mz. I think if Netflix were able, they would have everything available to stream. I hardly see any TV shows if anything at all that's owned by CBS (Big Bang Theory, 2.5 Men, etc.). I think HBO's the same way as I was really hoping I could stream Deadwood and the Sopranos.
