First full size cans recommendation

I swore i would not buy anymore headphones after I got my first pair of HD650's (for me best I ever heard) but a few weekes ago a friend of mine needed money fast and i was able to purchase his MINT HD598's for $150. You should give these a listen, they sound fantastic and even at full price are a bargain.
I may keep them for late night movies and sell my old 555's that have held that position for a LONG time.

interesting. those never came up in my search. they look amazing. any chance you can compare them to any of the other major players mentioned above? again, i am very happy with the M-80's and will definitely be keeping them for a good long while, but i suppose someday i'd be interested in a nice comfy non-portable set for home use.
