Foo Fighters play Tom Sawyer??? NO!!!!

I won't post it here, because I don't want to support it, but my Facebook newsfeed is filled with people liking and sharing a video of the Foo Fighters sloppily playing Tom Sawyer by Rush.

Do they play all the notes? For the most part. Do they sing all the words? No. Is it exciting? No. Is it entertaining? Not really - only if in your head you fill in all the energy and missing character with vivid memories of what Rush sounded like.

Arg!!!

I love Dave Grohl, and the Foo Fighters is an amazing collection of talented musicians, but DAMN if that isn't a poor performance of a classic song!

Ug!
