I used to watch Dave before he was a household name. Back in the very early 80's I was sick and stayed home from school and caught this young guy who had a small daytime talk show in Washington DC. I recall ditching school just to watch this guy and how raw and funny he was then one day he was gone.

Years passed then one night I saw an ad for Late Night with David Letterman and holy shit my mouth dropped open and I was telling everyone how this guy had a daytime talk show back East and he was friggin hilarious. What's funny is on the last show they actually showed clips from his daytime talk show.

Gonna miss Dave.
