Android users with access to Google Play might want to check out the "Free MP3 of the Day" every so often and look for other music freebies. There's actually been some decent stuff over the past year, especially of late.

Today I downloaded "I Will Wait" from Mumford and Sons. Totally free.

I also have downloaded on other occasions free tunes from Coldplay, Blondie, Billy Idol, Bob Mould, Jason Aldean, and more. The free stuff isn't always big hits, but often enough it is. Frequently there are free samplers from new artists, too.

fwiw... Amazon also has the Mumford & Sons song free right now, too.
