Got a new Marantz! Bi-amp?

Well...new to me. Found a Marantz SR6008 on Craigslist for $200!
Bought from a retired professor that is leaving the country. He is original owner and had all original accessories.
This is going in the living room with my Klipsch reference speakers. The current Marantz NR1403 will go in the den with the Elac B6's.

Question....with the new receiver I can use the "B" speaker outputs in conjunction with the regular L R front speaker outputs to bi-amp.
Is it worth doing? Will bi-amping the Klipschs benefit anything?

Thanks guys.

What you are thinking of doing is bi-wiring but not bi-amping. Unless the amplifier can separate higher frequencies to one set of outputs and lower frequencies to the other set then don't bother. As long as you have wire of decent thickness then that should be all you need.
