"Gotham" - TV Show about Gordon before Batman?

IMHO it's between the two extremes. If well written and produced it may be quite enjoyable, even if its not the best thing ever.

To the best of my knowledge, WB has no intention to have Batman in a tv show anytime soon, if ever. He's too large an asset at the movie theater and they don't want people making an unintended connection between a tv series and movie franchise.

On a personal note, I'm looking forward to the "Gotham" show but a series that included Batman and weekly run-ins with regulars from the rogues gallery would be a dream come true. But that is something I won't ever get my hopes up for.
