Great drum solos....

I used to play just not enough time anymore. If I wasn't on my phone I'd post some vids myself. My favorite drummer is Justin Foley from Killswitch Engage. He has his masters on precision.

There's another guy who I can't remember from London I think, just amazing.
Others,
Andols Herrick of Chaimaira, I've never heard so much come from a guy that looks as if he's not moving.
Vinnie Paul- Pantera
Dave MacIntosh- Dragonforce
And youtubeer, machine gun Smith.

Here you go Smgreen

Machine Gun Smith meets Charlie Brown

Vadrum is the GAWD of drum covers. He is a ProgRock style drummer, which is at the bleeding edge of musicality and complexity:

The drummer that impresses me the most is probably Stu Copeland. I don't have a "solo" to post, but its actually his interaction with other musicians that blows me away, the way he plays outside the box. And it was probably a requirement that he played with such a solid, simple bass player like Sting, much like Moon needed the Ox to keep the band together.

Here's Stewart from back in the day playing live with the Police, hit part isolated.

Here he is playing his own music:

An oldie but a goodie! If you haven't seen this, you won't regret wasting 8 minutes watching this.

Found him, it's Thomas Lang. youtube him and look for the 2007 Montreal drum solo. I'm on my phone again or I'd post it myself.

I tried the link again and it worked??????

Justin Foley, 1:50 into the song is his little thing, short too. For those that don't want to listen to the whole song or for those that don't care for this style music.

Matt Bryne, I didn't know which one of Matt's to choose, so here's both.

Though he's not really my favorite, I must say, I am saving the best for last...
