I know he’s supposed to be showing off... Asthma can’t slow him down, etc. But the escalator scene always bugs me. Dude comes off as a jerk. What’s the hurry? Because if it ain’t explosive diarrhea or some other emergency he needs to chill.


EDIT: Turns out he’s trying to catch up to Frodo. Gandalf told him to stay by his side.

That was me, in my younger TDY days. Plenty of signs saying "Stand to the Right", but no...
