HD Digital Audio is BS! Great (albeit long) Video

I was thinking about this topic over the weekend...

There is nothing bad about higher resolution digital audio. The point of this discussion is that there is no benefit to higher than CD-Audio digital audio. If the music one wants to hear is only available in an HD format, that's fine - one should enjoy it. But if you can save a penny going with standard redbook audio, then one should just save the money and listen to the redbook content.
 
Most of the streaming options are either 320K MP3 or "High Rez" rather than redbook. If the goal is to have lossless reproduction, over-hyped high rez seems to be the only way to go.

In fact, this is not a true statement. Amazon Music HD is lossless on most tracks and only higher resolution on certain tracks.
