Well, as you know I've cut off all live TV - but I still have Netflix. So lately I've been watching a bunch of the Netflix originals. In general, they've all been VERY good. Daredevil, Marco Polo, Orange is the New Black, etc.
The ones that have really stood out for me are Grace and Frankie (comedy), Sense8 (sci-fi-ish, by creators of Matrix and Babylon 5 - great characters and filming). Both really resonated with me, in their own very different ways.
And lastly, the one I just finished watching the second season of, Hemlock Grove. This is a horror/thriller/suspense type show. Pretty graphic. And damn, this is the scariest thing I've watched in a long time. I've been home alone this past week - wife and kids are away - and I admit, I pretty well freaked myself out watching this one alone at night. :scared-eek: To the point where I had a hard time falling asleep some nights.
At least, with the first season. The second season was interesting and well done, but didn't have the sense of "what the HELL" that the first did, that made it IMHO so successful. It's apparently been approved for a third and last season which I look forward to.
Anyone else watched this?
