I clicked on the local CBS news this morning without thinking, and soon noticed the same banner I saw last night, Dish would no longer be carrying CBS as of Saturday evening. I'm guessing they had a last-minute agreement or something. :text-+1:
I did lose CBS, but it was only for a day or so. Comcast had dropped one other channel a few months back that I liked, for a few weeks; can't even remember which one right now.
That's life in a democracy, er, oligarchy. :twocents-mytwocents:
Our CBS is off now. I don't when it happened but the guide says that it's off and gives a way to contact Dish. I can't find much about it on the web either.
We lost it for a couple of days. Apparently the group that owns our affiliate pulled it for a little while. The guide even said something about it like "KTHV is not currenlty available on Dish. Please visit our website for information." It's all worked out now.
