Hulu prepping live tv streaming service

It is announced, for $39.99 a month you get everything Hulu Plus offered plus 50 live channels accessible on any device which has a Hulu app.

I am curious as to what channels are offered, but to be honest, I don't miss live TV very much. What few things I would like live TV to view - sporting events, urgent news, and the lottery result - I can get those via Live Feeds on YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.

I pretty much agree that I don't miss live TV that much. I watch quite a bit via Hulu Plus and as long as they don't restrict what is on there when they start the live streaming I doubt it will be something I use.

After going several months sans cable, we signed up for Hulu with Live TV this past weekend. It's still within our free trial period but I'm pretty sure we'll be keeping it. The indoor OTA antennae we were using delivered flaky results, Hulu's channel lineup is a good fit, and the price is less than half of what we were paying for cable.

I checked the lineup and it is pretty much the same as DiretvNow, which I have< and the price is the same.

My big complaint on both is they don't offer a PBS channel.

So this got me to thinking about cutting the cord... once again. I found a website that i thought gave a pretty good comparison of the various options out there - Link - as well as a comparison of the channel lineup for each service - Link.
For reference, they liked YouTubeTV the best.
