Jeremy Clarkson Dropped from Top Gear

Yeah ....

I've been following this for a little while. From the accounts I've read he's a tool who probably deserved to have been fired a long time ago. The latest thing was just the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back.

That said I am a fan and will probably watch whatever projects he lands on in the future. Top Gear will never be the same. I'll miss that show.

I agree with Towen.

Clarkson is kind of an ass, he's even pretty open about that. Physical assault is also grounds for firing from pretty much every job that isn't actually fighting. So I definitely understand his firing.

Still, Top Gear will NOT be the same without him. The Clarkson/May/Hammond chemistry is what made the show so great. I just don't think it's going to be able to continue and maintain the same popularity. I could easily see the three of them being picked up by some other network, even Netflix, to continue their wacky hijinks. If that happens, though, Clarkson is still going to need some anger management counseling- and I think he knows it.

LOL!! "Much as I think he's a knob, I like working with Jeremy"

I haven't kept up, but guessing there's no change since there's been no reply to this thread til now.
