So, I have this inwall sub
http://www.klipsch.com/rw-5802-in-wall- ... ails#specs
and its literature says it is only to be used with a klipsch RSA-500 amplifier
http://www.klipsch.com/rsa-500-subwoofe ... ails#specs
But I already have a berhinger a500, which on paper, outperforms the RSA-500
http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/A500.aspx
it even weighs more by a solid 6 pounds.
Now I know this is not a true subwoofer and it will not rattle my house. BUt that isn't what I am looking for. I am looking for a solid anchor to my downstairs viewing area. Which is currently equipped with klipsch inwalls front and inceilings in back, onwall center and a peppy little 8 inch energy sub.
I want to use this sub because I have it and teh amp just sitting around. But if someone, anyone can tell me why I really need that other amp and save me from hacking a huge hole in my living room wall, I would really appreciate it.
