Looking for a new receiver...

My current bedroom receiver (Onkyo...I forget which, low level) is over 10 years old and some glitches are cropping up. Considering a new purchase and looking for recommendations...
All I need is HDMI switching, digital optical and cheap...and it to last another 10 years.
I only run a pair of small Paradigm speakers.

Wow...as I'm typing this thread I searched BB and
https://www.bestbuy.com/site/onkyo-7-2-channel-network-a-v-receiver-black/5017600.p?skuId=5017600
$249 as a Black Friday deal and this thing looks like overkill for me...
"What do I get for $10?"...I mean...What do I get for $150?

Anyway...any recommendations? I guess I can search for under, under $150 would be great...

These guys are great. I bought five receivers from them over the years (including two that served in my main system). The only issues I had were Onkyo-related, not dealer related. They are an authorized dealer for everything they sell. The only recommendation I can make is to avoid Onkyo. Their quality has really gone down the crapper in more recent years. Stick with Denon, Marantz or Yamaha.

They warranty the refurb so it’s really a matter of your personal risk tolerance. I’ve owned two pieces of refurb gear: a Nikon DSLR thatvhad no issues and a ln Onkyo pre/pro that’s had a few problem.

Me personally? I’d probably just spend the extra $50 for a new unit.

It is a hell of a lot more than $50. I saved $700 on my last receiver and $500 on the one before that.
