More speakers - Bose 901 IV

My brother still has his old 901's but I dont know if he even still uses them.
 
My dad still has and uses 901s in his house. They were my first exposure to "audiophile" speakers (meaning not just a simple cabinet with, say, a turntable and a couple of built-in speakers).

by chance wards, do you buy the speakers then redo them, or are they projects given to you to work on?
