My daughter's jazz band

This was taken last night at my older daughter's jazz band performance; she's in the front middle on clarinet, with the light blue dress. Pretty dang impressive for 5th graders! Not a trivial arrangement. Note that there is no accompaniment track here, it's all the kids (except the choir teacher on drums and the main band teacher on sax). I'm so grateful to have a school and teacher who support music this way, and really bring out the best in the kids. Many of them - my daughter included - started on these instruments only last fall.

(Sorry about the crappy quality, this was taken with our old little p&s camera... but you get the idea. And just skip the first 30s of the intro)
