Netflix launched offline viewing!

Netflix has finally created an offline viewing nice where you can download content for viewing offline!!!

It only works with Android and iOS today, but it is a start!

And I don't think all content is available for download either. But, like you said, it's a step in the right direction.

It's getting harder and harder to justify sticking with iPhone.

Netflix is offering offline viewing for Windows 10 users:

I haven't really taken advantage of the offline capabilities with Android, since I don't often watch video on my phone. But this will be huge for my Tablet viewing, which I do all the time on airplanes. The article says the limited options for downloading content is mostly for Netflix own content, but that is fine with me. I am going to try this out, but I may need to start using my main PC/Tablet instead of my relatively ancient tablet that I've used for airplane video for 6 years.

In preparation for my current trip to Las Vegas, I used Netflix to download season's off some shows I've been wanting to watch rather than tipping and copying content onto my devices.

It works perfectly and performs amazingly well.

This is a game changer.
