I've long been a big fan of violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter.

Antonin Dvorak is one of my favourite composers.

So it goes without saying that Dvorak by Anne-Sophie Mutter (backed by the ever-amazing Berlin Philharmonic) is the perfect combination in my books.

I recommend it highly to folks of either; I suggest that folks who know of neither should check it out as well.

Cool, I'm into that, as these particular works are ones I don't have. Ordered!

Jeff, if you like classical violin, I can't recommend Hilary Hahn enough. I have every single thing she's recorded, she's amazing. Her solo Bach partitas, and the concerti by Meyer and Barber, are my two favorites.

Thanks for the tip Pauly.

I just placed a library hold on a couple of Hahn CDs to give her a try: Bach Concertos (2003) and Beethoven Violin Concerto (1999). Should be listening to them in a couple of days.
