NuForce STA 200

I already posted a little about this in the Screaming Bargain Thread.................

I receive emails from Audio Advisor and saw this power amp on sale/clearance for $499.

I have been looking for an amp for the Den system, but didn't what to spend more than $500, so that limited my options.

They also had this on sale on Amazon and with Prime, I could have it in 2 days but would need to pay sales tax.

Since I was in no rush to get it, I opted to purchase this directly from Audio Advisor with no tax and free 3-5 day shipping. So, I ordered it on Wednesday and to my surprise it was delivered the next day.

So when I got home from work yesterday, I hooked it up and it seems like a really robust amp. I pushed it a little bit with some tunes and then during our TV watching.

The form factor is nice and small and it seems to run very cool...................

Nice! I too subscribe to Audio Advisor's emails, I saw that amp on clearance as well but don't know anything about it. I wasn't sure if it was really a clearance price , or just the going street rate, but sounds like it's a good deal indeed.

How are you liking it so far?

Seems very solid so far. It has been left on since I hooked it up. It's noise floor is quiet and seems to have plenty of balls driving my Studio 60's. As mentioned earlier runs cool.
