Sometime soon FOX will be adding a sub station for MOVIES. Yeah, another free OTA station for me & alot of ya'll !

But not sure what 16:9 format means...according to the link below its 480i so I guess it'll be letterbox:

16:9 is the ratio of image on the scree. That particular one is referred to as wide screen. 480i is the standard definition. http://www.hdtv.biz/resolution.shtml

Thats the source of his confusion. The announcement says that moviews will be 16:9 but the site's wikipedia post says that they broadcast in 480i.
