Reading & understanding Speaker Measurement Graphs

Barney

I know I can't be the only one having trouble understanding the measurement graphs. Those graphs that Flint posted on the C1 thread for dynamics threw me for a loop. Would love to have a class.

Okay... I'll write something.

Which graph do you want to understand first?

Those graphs you posted about those C1's. I couldn't see where you got 0.75ms etc. Also what do we look for, what a bad speaker measures etc.

If possible maybe dumb it down for us slow people, some of us are Matt slow! lol

Flint U Da Man! :bow-blue:

Maybe we can pin it for easy reference.

I'm in the "want to learn" group here. When I read stereophile I would just bypass all their grafts because I have no idea what they are talking about.

I would love to be able to look at one of those measurements and go...."Awwwww... that's a kickass speaker right there!"
