Although the Eagles got all the glory, Poco was my favorite country-rock outfit growing up (they later went straight rock). Crazy Lovin', Rose of Cimmaron, Heart of the Night, etc. They also recorded "Bye bye Dallas", a quirky tune written by an obscure CBS songwriting team, Donald Fagen and Walter Becker (Steely Dan!). I played pedal steel from ~1984 to 1991, and Rusty was an inspiration.
