RUSH 2112

Hmmm, gonna have to think about this one a bit. Geddy's voice was still in the "castrated chalkboard" range back then, I much prefer his later singing about 3 octaves down; still, a classic album.
I'd really like to see Power Windows come out in 5.1. That is most fans' (and Peart's) most-hated album, too much polish and synths. It was my first Rush album and I love synths, so its my favorite; the multiple parts swooshing and burbling up all over the place would be perfect in Surround!

As well as a remaster CD with some previously unreleased tracks, the 2012 "2112 five point one Deluxe Edition" contains a Blu-ray audio disc with both PCM and DTS-HD MA 5.1 96/24.

I like the DTS better than the PCM.

This can't be better than the remastered Moving Pictures CD, can it? :p

Thanks for the heads up Jeff, I ordered a copy. A truly Iconic AOR title, I was so annoyed when I first got into stereo. To play it fresh out of the cover, zapped with my electrostatic gun and brushed with liquid vinyl cleaner. And still hear all the ticks, pops, and crackles in the really quiet parts. I might as well have been listening to a bowl of Rice Krispie's.
