Seriously, how is this even possible?

It's an indie film which means very little marketing money and limited distribution. Ive never heard of it and it was in US theaters back in December. In the UK which is smaller than some US states it played in exactly one theater. Apparently it was released for on-demand on the same weekend too.

Still ... it's gotta be disappointing.
 
It was released to a single theater in a small area and otherwise was released for download only.
 
Yes I understand all the variables about marketing and distribution etc. but in this world of blogs and cult following etc I would think there would be at least a handful of people that follow if not him as an actor, the genre of movie enough that they would make an appearance in the theater.
