Thought you wanted a SR7010 ?

Yes, but the SR-7010 is way out of my price range at the moment. $650 for that Denon is more immediately obtainable. Whether I should or not is a different story.

Ah! I completely missed the bottom of Scott's OP, was wondering what the heck was going on.

My main motivator for wanting a new receiver is that it would greatly simplify my life with regard to my second screen in the kitchen. Having 2nd zone HDMI functionality and HDMI 2.0 HDCP 2.2 support would make my setup less complex and more reliable. It will not have much impact on the performance of my main system and the UHD Blu-Ray player I am thinking about picking up has a 2nd audio-only HDMI output for people with older receivers. I am unlikely to buy a UHD streamer any time soon, since I have all the major services I use baked into the TV. In other words, a new receiver is far more of a nice to have than a need to have and I should probably do this on next year's budget (although $650 for that Denon is pretty compelling).

Denon and Marantz receivers are virtually identical nowadays...

I wonder how this one compares to the SR-6010, which is what I was originally planning to buy at the end of the year.
