I can't remember if it was this forum, but that "Maurice" label had followed me for a few years.

And, to celebrate a history teacher's mis-spelling of my name, have some cake!

That was definitely a tasty little piece, the song by Vai not the cake.

Had a real Bluesy feel for Steve, who normally is more straight on rock and roll.

I really enjoyed his explanation of what he was doing and why he was doing it. He said he really had to step out of his comfort zone for that piece, finger style instead of pick and bending the strings instead of beating his whammy bar like a riding crop, but he sure made it look easy.
