They put Entwistle, Pastorius, Levin, Wooten, and Meyer in there, so they covered much of my top 10 of all time. The only one I think they should have included was Bruce Thomas from the Attractions (Elvis Costello) who I believe is one of the best bass players of all time for pop/rock/alternative music.
 
Didn't mention Brit-Funk ace Mark King (Level 42), either…
Bruce Thomas has never been on my radar, can you recommend a representative Attractions album for me?

Nice! I'll have to make a list of some of the tracks mentioned in the vid along with the Costello track Flint mentioned.
 
I've been playing the entire "This Year's Model" album and the bass playing is amazing. In fact, some of the songs wouldn't even be listenable without the bass.
