Talking to a Music Industry Legend...

This evening, Gen and I attended a great outdoor birthday party for a friend, along with a hundred or so people, from a wide variety of backgrounds, but all connected through our mutual love of (competitive) swimming.

As well as great food, drink and live music, it was a wonderful opportunity to talk to friends, re-connect with some we had not seen in a while, and to converse with some with whom we'd not really done so before.

On that last point I had the great fortune to sit for a while with this gentleman and his wife.

If that's not one heck of a music industry bio, I'll eat my shorts! Great fun talking to him tonight!

For those of you who attended Bat's GTG 6.0 at which I played a pre-version of my friend Lloyd Frost's CD, recall that beautiful voice singing background vocals on some tracks? That was Harvey's granddaughter, Jenna Glatt.

Small world.

How cool! That's awesome, Jeff. And the best part? No shorts-eating required.
