Do you guys recommend getting The Matrix on Blu Ray only or by the complete set on Blu Ray?

The Matrix BD for $8

and

The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions BD two pack for $11

You get all three movies for $19

Plus you have to decide if you like the second two.

The wife and I recently faced this dilemma. I thought we just needed the first one but the wife convinced me to get all three. It had been a while since we'd seen the last two but we ended up staying up waaaaay too late on a school night last week watching them both.

What triggered the question was that when I saw The Matrix for $8, are the others worth getting on BR due to the quality of the movies themselves. It has been years since we have seen the.

I purchased the Alien Anthology and as we know 2 out of the 4 are pretty crappy.

I bought The Matrix on a black Friday special for 5 bucks last year or the year before, but it still sits unopened in the rack. I haven't felt the need to buy the other two though.

Bats sent me The Matrix on blu after the last gtg and I bought parts 2 & 3 as a combo for 11.00 I really love the first two but could live without the 3rd one. Also "The Animatrix" is a definite buy and watch between the 1st and 2nd movies and it answers a whole bunch of questions you may have.
