This was pretty interesting, thought it was worth a repost. Paul and I are both alumni of New Mexico State University (Go, uh, whatever the team is). I've personally never cared for their sound, but I know they're quite popular with many.

I guess I should be embarrassed by this, get my MS from them and don't even know the team! It's the NMSU "Aggies", and "Pistol Pete" is the mascot (appropriate...) Now to look up and post a pic of him:
