Is anyone else watching this series on CNN? I'm really enjoying it, and learning a lot; one of last night's episodes covered the civil rights movement. I didn't watch TV news then, as I was still in the single digits, age-wise :character-oldtimer: and the public schools in SD didn't teach anything about civil rights in those days, neat how they stepped through the events and politics in chronological order. Another episode I've enjoyed a lot was the British Invasion; I remember seeing the Beatles on Ed Sullivan but my folks listened to country so I missed out on the rest of it until I got into high school. An upcoming episode will cover the Space race; I'm more familiar with that history but it'll be good to watch too.
Good program. :handgestures-thumbup:

Tonight was an episode of how television influenced, and changed, America. Fascinating! Was cool to see some old Carson, Burnett, and Laugh-In clips. :eusa-clap:
