There's another Audio discussion going on at my Egg forum, and one gent posted this:

About 15 years ago I stumbled across an audio store in Indianapolis going out of business, at 5:00pm every thing left was make an offer. I picked up four Klipsch ksf-55 sattelite speakers, two ksf-8.5's for the front channels, an infinity center and the Klipsch ksw-100 sub. I also picked up two K-horns in a dark oak finish. All were purchased for less than 1k.

I agree. He has no clue about "matching" speakers in multi-channel systems.

:)

well speaker matcing aside, I kinda find it hard to believe that he picked up a pair of K-Horns for under a grand. Even at a store closing. There has to be enough people in the know that they would have been circling like vultures.

Not saying it isn't true, but I am skeptical and if he did, then great for him.
