Billy is a very underrated Blues Guitarist and has always been one my favs. He is very understated and one of a kind.

Great post, had to listen to the whole thing!
I played in a band in Albuquerque whose lead guitarist was a ZZ-Top-head. He could play the "La Grange" solo perfectly, and he showed me how he had to maneuver the pick, and even use the flesh of his thumb, to pull out those sweet harmonics, which Joe talked about in the interview. Think I know what I'll be listening to the rest of the morning! :music-listening:

I have always been a huge ZZ Top fan. Seen them maybe 5 times when I was young and they always disappointed me live but alot of it was the venues they chose to play in KC. It never dampened my enthusiasm for them.
