Two things jumped out of the deck at CES Vegas 2016: The lonely grinders sitting by themselves, smoking, drinking, and pouring their life's resources down some glowing monster's gullet, and…the power of a CD. The charming and knowledgeable Jonathan Derda (MoFi Distribution) burned a mix CD on a MoFi Gold CD-R for the show. Besides helping MoFi (and TAD) to have the best sound at CES, this unforgettable disc placed one heart-rending (unreleased) Prince song at the center of my CES 2017 consciousness.—Herb Reichert From Stereophile Magazine
The first part of the paragraph is re: the crowds and vendors for the Hi-Fi portion of CES circling the drain. Munich is now the premier international show, with RMAF, AXPONA and now the LA Audio show taking the North American crowds and audio industry.

As an aside, the guy running the show for MoFi and TAD Jonathan Derda is from my town, Mishawaka, IN. His father sold me my current speakers, Magnepan 3.6's from his store Audio Exchange just before he closed up shop. Jonathan always has first class music in his demonstrations, he seems to move around a lot though. I remember I saw him first with Peachtree Audio, then ZuAudio, and now MoFi, probably the nature of the business he is in.
