Victor Wooten Trio w/ Dennis Chambers and Bob Franceschini

Flint

Prodigal Son
Superstar
Oh yeah!!! Guess who landed tickets to see Victor Wooten, Dennis Chambers, and Bob Franceschini play in a relatively small club venue this Saturday? One of the best bass players ever, one of the best drummers ever, and one of the best saxophone players ever in one place for hours!!!

This Saturday is gonna be great!

YES!!!

I saw Victor live a couple years ago, also in a smaller venue. He's a terrific performer. I don't remember the names of those touring with him at the time, unfortunately.

Hot Damn! Show starts soon and I just saw Victor walking down the street looking for food.

I've seen him a few times and it's always a great show! The last time he was in town, he was out in the lobby talking with anyone and everyone about 45 minutes before they started. He was incredibly polite and still has a passion for his craft.

One thing I didn't get was some of the fascinating sounds Victor was getting, then I stumbled onto this video of his MIDO enabled bass.

Did you watch the whole video to the end where he says this is incredible technology the young people need to learn to use because I am an old guy set in my ways and someone needs to invent knew things to do with this.

Yes I watched the whole thing, but I don't really believe that, Victor may be "an old guy" in his own words, but that dude is far from being done creating and innovating. Love that guy though, truly an artist.
