VideoWave: Bose's latest overpriced POS

I have to admit, for the non-savvy tech crowd Bose has created a niche market. Let's face it, some people aren't interested in the needed learning curve to correctly setup a 5.1 system and display. On the other hand, if the asking price was 1/2 the amount being charged, they'd really have something on their hands.

So when they come out with the 3D version for $7k I guess it will be ULTRA Fucking Awesome :bow-blue: :banana-rock: I feel so ashamed I am not worthy of the Bose.
 
We had a Board meeting a couple weeks ago at our treasurer's home. Her husband had what at first glance was a pretty nice HT. Nothing was turned on but a nice Sony TV, PS3 and what I think was a Klipsh SW but I looked and there were Bose speakers.

It was one of those situations where you would love to say something but it would be inappropriate. I did invite him to stop over and preview my setup, about the best I could do until I get to know him better.

I am definitely worthy, I just cant afford the stuff. I am going to have to stick with my lowly Marantz, Yamaha, ATI, Sony, Paradigm, Klipsch, SVS, and Mitsubishi crap. :laughing-rolling:

Okay, I'll be the one to say a nice thing about Bose. The FM tuner in the Wave Radio (purchased before I was bitten by the HT bug) blows the doors off the tuners in my Marantz A/V receiver and Outlaw pre/pro.
