Watch Dogs

I picked up Watch Dogs this week for my PS4. I even got it with through amazon pre-order, which I almost never do. Based upon the trailer and early promos, I thought it would be the first truly awesome next gen game . . .

I have only played for a couple of hours thus far, but overall it is pretty amazing. Very much like the last GTA in terms of being a great sandbox game, but much more interactive and better graphics. Basically, you can use your phone to hack into pretty much every other electronic device in the city, including people's phones, electrical systems, security cameras, street lights, etc. It makes for a very interesting experience.

The graphics were not as "awesome" as I thought they would be, more than likely because they have not yet learned to create software to take full advantage of the power of the next gen systems, much like the earlier PS3. It also seems that the story may fall a little bit short of what I expected, but we will see. Definitely gives me hope for the direction that the next gen games are going!
