Wife is on a kick with the new house and setting up the wifi and Iphone to control the light switchs.

She is using the Belkin product WeMo. So far been working well. Color adjustment on two of the LED lights is fun for her. Cost has not been to high.

I feel that we need to keep eye on the security and what the internet hackers do in a few weeks with our lights on the network.

I've been using Lutron Casetta dimmer switches. I have 4 installed and about 6 more to do.

I really dig em.

The one thing I found is you can not work with a multi switch light set on the Belkins,
I was searching the Lutron documents and did not see any answers.

So far the other lights are working very well and have made the wife happy.

You can use a 3-way switch light with the Lutron Caseta. My livingroom, staircase and patio lights use that setup.

You can do this easily because each Lutron switch comes with a remote that can be mounted like a switch. Basically you mount the new switch at one of the locations. Then you bypass the other switch and mount the remote there. You can get extra remotes and mount them anywhere you want.

BTW... the remotes for the Lutron switches are not wifi and can be used without any connection to your router. You only need to connect a hub if you want to use a mobile app to control the lights. In that configuration the remotes get programmed to talk to the hub and the hub controls the switches.
