Wasn't he in a band back in the 80's Brat Pack days? I seem to remember that for some reason.

I've seen him on Broadway singing (I cannot remember the musical, I was there meeting my agent during a rehearsal), and he was very good at that.

He is a great example of how a celebrity who lost it all through ego, selfish behavior, and insecurities can turn it all around and be a real star. It just goes to show his character and talent was always there.

Had no idea Robert Downey Jr could sing. Man that was good. It somehow reminded me of John Mayer singing Sting, but Robert was good.

I had a somewhat idea, but didn't think it was on the level of the YT video above. I'll have to look around at some of the other videos.

Agree with both. I've always liked RDJ, but kinda gave up on him when the dope and ego were too much. I remember being undecided and questioning why he was picked for Ironman. After I saw it, those thoughts were gone. He just nailed it. It's the same with the Sherlock Holmes movies. Since Ironman, he's (again) became a deciding reason why I would watch a particular film.

The YouTube video put a smile on my face. I thought he nailed that song (one of my favs by The Police). I'm really glad to see him back on top and I sincerely hope he stays on top. :eusa-clap:
