This wasn't how I was gonna spend my Saturday.
Got caught up in this multi-hour show on the History Channel, it follows a dozen or so different individuals through their war experiences, both Europe and Pacific/Japan, and there's lots of footage I haven't seen before, some of it in color. Some were voiced by known actors today, reading their letters/diaries, and they interviewed the actual folks in some cases. Pretty gruesome in spots, but overall excellent. I will DVR this when it comes on again; recommended. :handgestures-thumbup:
