X-Men Days of Future Past

Saw this today and although better than "The Last Stand" was not better than the first two movies. It does try to make up for The Last Stand and tries to correct the many flaws of that movie. Special effects were first rate but felt the movie was all over the place. Saw it at the Cine Capri which bills itself as being bigger and louder than IMAX (took Jeff and Razz to this theater when they were down here) but now it has Dolby Atmos which the Dolby preview was awesome to hear but during the movie it was hardly used and if it was I hardly noticed an upgrade over 7.1 but the Dolby demo was quite spectacular to listen to.

Was also kinda sad to see how the x-Men have aged so much since the first movie but was nice to see so many cast members from the original movie. Just felt the story could've been better. You do get to see Rogue whose scenes were cut from the movie but you only see her for a second. Blink and you'll miss her.

Also stayed for the end credits for the teaser scene and that was very disappointing. Just an Egyptian character building a pyramid with her mind (maybe it was a man was hard to tell with the Egyptian shawl over most of her face). With the four horsemen of the Apocolypse in the background on a sandy mound and that was it. The reason I mention it is trying to save you ten minutes of watching credits for this one minute lame ass teaser. The guy next to me said it best, "Well that was lame".
